First-Time-Homebuyer

Buying a home for the first time may seem like a formidable process. From understanding your budget and the current marketplace to getting approved for a mortgage, there are many complex factors that go into becoming a homeowner.

It’s essential to familiarize yourself with the overall home buying process before you dive into handling more complex factors. The first step, however, is to recognize that purchasing a home is a long-term investment in your future. Just like any investment, determining the best path for you requires taking personal factors into account. What kind of community do you want to be part of? Are you planning to start a family in the future? These are all questions to ask yourself that can not only make your initial purchase easier, but will allow you to enjoy your investment for many years to come as you make your house a home.

APR agents are well-equipped to help you answer these questions and more. Years of experience in the Bay Area have given our agents a distinct advantage in understanding market trends, forecasting up-and-coming neighborhoods, and advising the perfect time to buy.

Additionally, our in-house mortgage company, Private Mortgage Advisors, is available to provide you with one-stop mortgage lending, offering competitive pricing and a wide range of loan products.

In the competitive Bay Area market, it is essential that buyers, especially those purchasing for the first time, set themselves apart from the crowd. We always advise our clients to tell their story through a personalized letter, or “buyer’s resume,” that can accompany an offer. The tactic is increasingly popular in the competitive real estate markets and allows a buyer and seller to create a human connection beyond the monetary transaction.

Moving-Up

Perhaps you’ve already bought your first home, and have enjoyed living there for quite some time. You’ve thought about buying a larger home because you’re hoping to start a family in the near future. Or maybe you’ve recently been promoted. You love your neighborhood, but living closer to work would cut down on your commute and give you more free time to pursue what you love.

Finding that perfect house is not just a concern for first-time homebuyers. Lives are constantly evolving, and your home should evolve at the same pace.

We can help you make the leap.

At APR, our agents are dedicated to seeing our clients through each and every life transition, whether we’re putting your current house on the market or finding the perfect community for your new one. With our relocation services and in-house mortgage company, Private Mortgage Advisors, APR is available to assist with all of your real estate needs, so you can spend less time worrying about the details and more time making your house a home.

Downsizing

Whether you have children who have recently gone to college or are just looking for less lawn maintenance, downsizing can be the right move for many reasons. APR agents are here to help with all the aspects of the downsizing process, from selling your current home for the right price to finding a new place to call your own.

There are many factors to take into consideration when downsizing, from you current home’s market value to understanding new and different property taxes. Our full-time relocation experts can help make your move a smooth one, while our worldwide affiliations will connect you with buyers from around the country and the globe.
